Production Scenarios

With the Production Scenarios form (solids production > Sanding Analysis > Production Scenarios) you can specify the production scenarios input data to run the sanding evaluation and sanding quantification. A production scenario is defined by the Drawdown pressure and the Depletion pressure, each of which is defined by a log or as a constant. You can specify a single scenario and multiple scenarios, which means different values for Drawdown and Depletion. The sanding evaluation and sanding quantification will use these scenarios and produce output values per each production scenario which you can compare.

To specify the input data

Select to specify a single, or multiple production scenarios:

Single

  • Select the Drawdown pressure as a constant, or as a log.
  • Select the Depletion pressure as a constant, or as a log.
Important  Depletion is disabled when you use inclined stresses on the solids production > Setup > Input Data Editor form.

Multiple

The table is empty when you open the form for the first time. To create the first production scenario, in the first row of the table enter the name in the Name field and specify a date in the Date field. Create as many production scenarios as you want by typing in subsequent rows. Per production scenario:

  • Select the Drawdown pressure as a constant, or as a log.
  • Select the Depletion pressure as a constant, or as a log.
Important  Only production scenarios with a date can be shown in the Solids Production View (OH or CH) view.

To remove a production scenario, select the respective row by clicking in one of the cells (or on the triangle in front of the row, the row tuns blue) and press Delete.
